Food Skills & Nutrition Educator
Rheon is a Junior High Foods and Fashion studies teacher in Calgary who is passionate about spreading the joy of cooking. She received her combined Bachelor of Secondary Education and Bachelor of Science in Human Ecology from the University of Alberta in 2015 and has been working for the Calgary Board of Education ever since.
Rheon loves teaching where food comes from to help her students appreciate the origins of food and various ways to prepare locally sourced ingredients. She is also passionate about traveling and learning about cultures and cuisines around the world. While on her adventures she enjoys trying local dishes and partaking in cooking classes to appreciate new ingredients, spices, and techniques used around the world.
