Poppy Innovations was founded in 2012 by Sharon McCormick. An agripreneur at heart, Sharon welcomes the chance to work with organizations that are looking for new, innovative ways to grow. After a career spanning two decades and including success in the private, non-profit, and public service sectors, Sharon shifted her priorities to focus on her family, her community, and her greatest passion – gardening and food. Now Sharon shares her management skills and go-get-‘em attitude with organizations looking for business solutions and with adults and children through interactive education and activity-based programs across the food spectrum, what she calls ‘from gate to plate.’

Tanya Bradshaw

Tanya BradshawTanya is a Certified Holistic Nutritional Consultant who graduated from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition. She has been working in the industry for the past two years at a private medical clinic and has since moved on to open her own business in nutrition consulting. She is a member of the Canadian Association of Holistic Nutritional Professionals and an alumni member of her school – CSNN.

Tanya began her journey with nutrition after struggling most of her life with health issues. At long last, she discovered that food was a big part of reclaiming her health. This led her to go back to school to continue learning how to nourish her body. There, she discovered a true passion for nutrition and the power of food and was enlightened to the mind/body/spirit connection to achieving health and wellness.

After completing her schooling, Tanya went on to pursue more education on the ‘healthy gut’ and fermentation. She has taken a keen interest in the gut microbiome and how fermented foods are essential in nourishing this part of our bodies.

Outside of this, Tanya enjoys cooking good wholesome food that tastes great for her family. She also loves to grow her own food. She has been an avid gardener since taking a master gardener course quite some time ago.

Tanya is very excited to be a part of Poppy Innovations so that she can bring all these areas into practice and be able to share her journey and experience with other people.
