De Winton Community Garden offers plots for lease in their community garden. Located in a beautiful setting only minutes south of Calgary, you can enjoy gardening in the tranquility of this private garden.
Garden plots are an easy way to grow your own healthy, fresh produce. No need to fret if you don’t know a spade from a hoe, we will show you that growing a garden is an enjoyable way to get your hands dirty and we will provide you with as much support as you need to take your seeds to seedlings to full grown, fruit bearing plants. Our Grow ‘N Learn information seminars by gardening experts will get you started with your garden plans in the spring so you are well on your way and of course, a harvest celebration at the end of the growing season will cap a rewarding growing season.
The Community Garden has 2 plots that have become available for 2018.
COST: $60/plot for growing season (May to November) and $50 deposit, plus receive a discount for any of our Grow ‘n Learn events. Deposit is returned at end of season when garden bed is cleaned out. With early registration, winter planting for next season is available at no extra cost.
