M’s Childhood Cooking Memory

Here is M’s contest entry:  “I’ve been cooking since I was old enough to hold a spoon.  My Mom is an excellent cook and always encouraged us.  A couple of times a year we would go on an all day cooking binge.  We would make cookies, squares, cakes and pies.  I would do the baking and my Mom would keep the ingredients coming and do clean-up.  Imagine my disappointment when I started cooking and baking on my own and I didn’t  have her help and had to organize and clean up after myself!”
